Race :: Round 15 - Monaco Takes the Lead!

Click Here to View Car Stats & Leader Board

Britain's John Milk struggles into the La Trappe curve, downshifting and Monaco skids past into first place, a daring move that finally takes the lead from Britain! Louis de Monignac presses on into the highest gear amidst a cloud of tire smoke and braking as the Alfa Romeo Tipo B slides through the turn, nearly spinning out, but somehow he holds on to rocket into the lead. Behind, quite as daring as the Monegasque, comes Vitez Rychly of Czechoslovakia, skidding and braking as he fights past Britain into second place. As the three cars skid past, the goats panic and begin to run, first one way, then the other and toward the outside lane as Germany’s Hegkman bears down on them!! The goat herder too leaps off the track to the opposite side! Farther back, Italy's Sebi Orsi in his Maserati blazes up into fifth place in a daring move to press his advantage. Now he is eying the German just ahead -- will his lightweight Maserati overtake the German's heavier Bugatti in La Trappe curve? All of the drivers seem hell bent on pressing their advantage, despite the goats! Bringing up the second group, Spain and Switzerland are running neck and neck, with Sweden pressing directly behind to slipstream off of Finland to pass. Finally, at the rear, Norway struggles to catch up.
